Ann Goodman received a Bachelors degree in Special Education from the University of Illinois. She taught for Niles Township Special Education. While rearing her family, she was always volunteering her time for many non-profits including Evanston Hospital, the American Cancer Association and Child Abuse Prevention Services. For the last 28 years, Ann has been a counselor and a prevention educator for Links (North Shore Youth Health Services) located in Northfield, Illinois. Links is a confidential agency for young adults which provides contraception counseling and Sexually Transmitted Disease testing and treatment. Links also provides prevention education to most all of the schools on the North Shore of Chicago. Ann has devoted much of her life to preventing teen pregnancy. |
