ChairJerry Newton (Grace Allen Newton) is Chair of Personal PAC and an attorney in Chicago, Illinois. She specializes in employment-related and housing issues, including sexual harassment, age, race, disability and sex discrimination. Before obtaining her current position, Jerry worked as an attorney in the Corporate Law Department at Hartmarx Corporation, where she gained extensive litigation experience in state and federal courts. Prior to that, she was an Assistant Attorney General with the Office of the Illinois Attorney General, a Housing Director with the Section 8 Program, and a French teacher. In addition to Personal PAC, she is involved with Human Rights Watch, Planned Parenthood, Chicago Foundation for Women, and the Shriver National Center on Poverty Law.
