Not only did Seth Lewis, candidate for State Senate in the 23rd District, refuse to say he supports the Equal Rights Amendment, but he supports a bill that would force burdensome and dangerous requirements on reproductive health centers. The last thing Springfield needs is another anti-woman politician.

Bartlett, Bloomingdale, Carol Stream, Glendale Heights, Villa Park deserve better.
Lewis is running an aggressive campaign to defeat Senator Tom Cullerton, who has been a champion for women during his time representing DuPage.
Cullerton:
- voted for HB 40
- was a Senate co-sponsor of the Equal Rights Amendment
- was the chief Senate sponsor of HB 4242, which prevents taxpayer funds from being used for sexual harassment buyouts.
We need elected officials like Tom Cullerton to defend reproductive rights in Illinois against the assault from right-wing extremists like Seth Lewis.
